T. Boone Pickens invests $10 million in Baylor
Legendary oil and gas entrepreneur and philanthropist T. Boone Pickens has pledged $10 million in support of Baylor initiatives. In recognition of this gift, and in a move that links the innovative business leader with a leading cancer program, Baylor has honored Pickens by naming its new cancer hospital the Baylor T. Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital.

The Trust approached the Baylor Health Care System Foundation to strategically plan, develop and execute programs that advance the field of geriatric care.

Annette C. and Harold C. Simmons have pledged $20 million to benefit transplantation initiatives within Baylor Health Care System. In recognition of this transformational gift, Baylor will rename the institute the Annette C. and Harold C. Simmons Transplant Institute.
Sammons support for Baylor Health Care System Foundation tops $20 million
The Baylor Health Care System Foundation announced gifts exceeding $20 million for North Texas’ largest outpatient cancer center and first dedicated hospital focusing on cancer patients. This donation is made possible through the generosity of the men and women of Sammons Enterprises, Inc. and the estate of founder Charles A. Sammons, who quietly provided significant philanthropic support to Baylor University Medical Center for more than 50 years.
Meet the Campaign 2015 Executive Committee
Baylor Campaign 2015 is led by a group of highly respected leaders and longstanding supporters of Baylor Health Care System who recognize its importance to all North Texans. Baylor Health Care System Foundation board chairman Erle Nye heads the committee, which helps with the execution of the campaign and gains recognition for Baylor in North Texas and beyond.
