Today, women in Dallas-Fort Worth are more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer than any other cancer, and every day, one family in the metroplex loses a loved one to the disease.

Baylor Health Care System has been fighting cancer for more than 50 years and treats breast cancer more than any other type of cancer. Its Celebrating Women luncheon has been a critical component in its not-for-profit initiatives.

Celebrating Women is known as the paramount breast cancer luncheon for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It brings together 150 dedicated committee members and more than 1,200 supporters each year to increase awareness and generate funding for breast cancer research, diagnosis and treatment.

Over the past 12 years, Celebrating Women donors have raised more than $18 million for education, technology and health care to fight breast cancer.
